I have installed a new blogging system that is interactive, to access it click here.

The Orange County Register has really won me over. They've been putting on events at their offices in Santa Ana with pro sports celebrities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Register. They have a Question and Answer session and then autograph signing.

I've attended three so far. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, J.S. Giguere, and AC Green.

Tonight AC Green was there. He was well spoken and very entertaining. A very nice guy all around. Below see some photos of myself and my friend Aaron Jacoby getting autographs.

Well of all the entries for a Sports blog, an entry about a rock and roll concert. Went to the Rolling Stones show at Angel Stadium. I saw two of my favorite players there! Current Angel Darin Erstad signed my ticket and I spoke with an old favorite who I just saw at the Ducks game, Bobby Grich. Check out my signed ticket below:

Went to the Ducks vs Predators game tonight. Great game, thanks for the ticket Tom!

Former Angel great Bobby Grich was in attendance.

Third row from the ice, lots of fights, Ducks win! See a pic I took at the game below..

The MLB Fix is in! The Astros are being forced to play with the roof open. They had a great record during the season with the roof closed. They were allowed to play the NLDS and NLCS with the roof closed but now MLB is forcing them to keep it open for the World Series. What a joke! FIXED

This is the first World Series I haven't watched in a long, long time. I heard there was another disputed umpire call. 3-2 count with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, 2 runners on and Jermaine Dye at the plate. The ball hits his bat (foul ball) and he is awarded first base for being hit by the ball. The Astros were winning 4-2 at the time. Of course the next batter hits a grand slam.

The Fix is in!

Well the Astros beat the Cardinals. I guess the momentum swing wasn't enough to beat the Astros phenomenal pitching. Roy Oswalt pitched a great game and was the NLCS MVP. He played for Nolan Ryan's minor league team, the Round Rock Express. Although Oswalt wasn't with the team at the time, the Express are the team I was able to watch play when I won the trip to bat against Nolan Ryan. We watched the game from Nolan's Owners box. I will provide full details on the Real Deal Fan link when I get a chance.

Rocky VI is in the works. Someone forwarded me this flash spoof of Rocky VI. Check it out here.

My first entry. A darkened halo all weekend. Very depressing and very expensive.

On the positive side, no more expenses for the World Series. Face value of my seats was $185 per ticket! Also no rings that say LA Angels.

It was good to see former Angels David Eckstein and Jim Edmonds setup the table for Albert Pujols in the ninth inning of Game 5 of the NLCS with 2 outs! Pujols delivered what could very well be the most dramatic of momentum swings. The series now shifts back to St. Louis. I wouldn't be surprised to see St. Louis take the series now.

Why does Peyton Manning have to suck in Fantasy Football this year? Of course during the year I take him with my first round pick. Every week I have Carson Palmer sitting on the bench accumulating more points than him. The one week that I did put Palmer in instead of Manning and Peyton threw for 4 TD passes!
